Tiny Tots celebrates World Plantation Day
21st of March is celebrated as World Plantation Day every year. Tiny Tots conducted a special assembly to mark the day. The special assembly was attended by the Principal Mr. Freese, Vice Principal Ms. Shafaq, students of the wing as well as students from classes 5th and 6th.
Trees have long been a subject of interest and a topic of discussion. They represent growth, peace and nature. The special assembly revolved around this theme.
The assembly started with prayers. This was followed by a welcome song by students which brought out the child in everyone. A coral poem too was narrated which was well appreciated. A skit depicting the repercussions of deforestation and the impact of trees on our routine as well as overall lives was performed too. The children delivered a stellar performance that drove the theme of preservation home. The assembly concluded with some lilting Urdu poetry and a song.
The Principal Mr. Freese delivered a short address to the assembly congratulating students for their sensitive exploration of the theme. He pledged to conduct a plantation drive in near future.
