Art teachers participate in international art symposium at Sri Sri University Bhubaneshwar
Two art teachers Mr. K. ASIF IQBAL and MR. TASADUQ HUSSAIN recently participated in an international art symposium held by Sri Sri University Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Almost 18 artists of different countries like France, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Bhutan and from the different states of India like Mumbai, Jammu and Kashmir, Pune, Chandigarh, and Baroda attended it. Some local artists of Bhubaneshwar, Odisha also participated in this symposium. Art symposium included various expressions of art viz. Painting, Dance Performances and Vocal performances as well.
The symposium was earlier inaugurated by the esteemed guests of Bhubaneshwar. It started with the puja by the Senior artist and Coordinator for Art, Mrs. Shama Sondhi. She was joined by the others staff members of the University. Speeches welcoming the participants were delivered by the Vice Chancellor, Secretary, and Deans of different faculties. Every artist was expected to paint two large paintings within the time period of seven days for the collection of the University. Our teachers produced exceptional pieces which were roundly praised for their mastery of skill and innovation.
