School holds Urdu Story – Telling Competition
Every culture has its own stories and narratives, which are shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values. On similar lines, a storytelling competition was held on 31st of April, 2019 in our primary wing from which students of class 3rd and 4th, each, enthusiastically participated. The competition was presided over by Mr. Hilal and Ms. Mehjabeen. Honorable Principal and Vice-Principal also graced the occasion.
We saw students develop their own storytelling talents, apply the techniques of storytelling and perform a story for an audience. The purpose of the competition was to inculcate the habit of proper urdu speaking and improving the Urdu vocabulary and pronunciation among the students.The event ended with the Principal felicitating the participants and lauding the efforts made by the students and the teachers in organizing this competition.
