DPS Srinagar shines at MUN 2020
Students of DPS Srinagar won a rich haul of accolades at MUN held from 26th – 27th November, 2020. 8 students of the school participated in the event in different committees like UNSCW, LOK SABHA, UNGA, UNSC, UNODC, and ILO. Asra Zakeeya won the best parliamentarian certificate with the cash prize of 1000rs. Tuba and Roshan won the best delegate certificate in their respective committees and won a cash prize of 1000 rupees each. Our other student Tashafee got a verbal mention.
Congratulating the students on their stellar performance, the Vice Principal, Shafaq Afshan said “Our students really make us proud by their impressive performances and we could not be more proud of them.”
The Chairman Vijay Dhar too congratulated the students and said “The success of our students is a testament to the hard work we put in to hone the skills of our students, and provide them the best exposure and platform to exhibit their talent.”
