Special assembly held to commemorate Baisakhi
Keeping in view the tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour and gaiety and introducing the children to their rich culture and heritage a special assembly was conducted on Baisakhi on 13 April 2021 by classes V-VIII.
The teachers briefed the students about the significance and importance of the festival. A virtual assembly was conducted to celebrate Baisakhi wherein children were dressed in traditional Punjabi attire. Punjabi folk dance was also performed by some children. Students made charts and beautiful drawings reflecting the festival of Baisakhi and prayed for each other’s well-being and good health.
