DPS Srinagar wins three medals in Boxing
DPS Srinagar bagged a rich haul of medals – one gold and two silver at the recently held District Boxing Championship held on February 27, 2023 at Sheri Kashmir Indoor Sports Stadium in Srinagar. The medalists are Mahrukh Riyaz (Gold), Aisha Younis (Silver), and Mohammad Gasiq (Silver).
Commenting on the success of the students the Principal Shafaq Afshan said, “Our school has a rich privilege of sporting excellence and this recent success at district level is further proof of that.
Congratulations to the medalists.” The Chairman Vijay Dhar also congratulated the students saying “DPS Srinagar has always believed in strengthening and refining of talent at grassroots level in all sectors – sports, academic and allied fields. This success of our students proves that.”
