Learning Resource Centre Celebrates Earth Day with Educational Activities
EARTH DAY is celebrated all over the world with a beautiful message – “Our continuing efforts in our everyday lives will make this beautiful planet thrive.” Earth Day is a proof that even one person can make a global impact in a positive way. Echoing the same, The Learning Resource Centre of the Delhi Public School celebrated “The Earth Day” through a series of activities on 24th April. The students and the teachers attended a special assembly wherein the students from Life skills and V.I department enacted a skit to create awareness of their duties towards Mother Earth. They also indulged themselves in the creative paper machie making with an aim to show gratitude towards our Mother Earth. Furthermore, a movie marathon was organized to sensitize the learners towards Planet Earth. The whole event revolved around the objective to educate the students to use eco-friendly products and recycle and reuse the waste materials and turn them into beautiful usable products. Students were motivated to do their bit to make this planet beautiful and greener.
