A self-made entrepreneur, Jaleed’s passion for business and startup was sparked during his final year in DPS Srinagar, where he developed an interest into starting his own business venture.
Jaleed Ashai graduated from DPS Srinagar in the year 2016 and did bachelors in Business Administration from PES University, Bangalore in 2020. It was stepping stone for realizing his dream to be an employer and not an employee. Taking the bull by its horns, Jaleed set up his own business amidst the pandemic. His brainchild is called “Mad for Momos” which employees many people and continues to grow. As the CEO and founder of his venture, he launched his incredible journey of a bright idea turned into reality. He and his team worked relentlessly to carve a niche in with his unique menu and running branches of the brand.
Jaleed is impressively pioneering the frontiers of food and proving his mettle as an entrepreneur. His latest brainchild is called “Fresh”, which is an exclusive brand serving cold beverages.
Recalling his time at DPS Srinagar, Jaleed said, “An individual’s intellectual and social stimulation begins from The School and I’ve realized it to be true that the school plays an important role in shaping an individual. I was fortunate enough that I spent my career’s building years in DPS Srinagar. A critical step was receiving guidance from the School. I particularly found the mentoring and consultation a great help. It is through the immense support of my teachers and supportive environment offered in the campus, I was able to dream big & even achieve it!”.
