
DPS Srinagar Shuttlers Dominate District Badminton Tournament with 8 Medals
With immense pride, Delhi Public School Srinagar announces the exceptional achievement of its students in the 32nd District Srinagar Badminton Tournament. The prestigious event was held from 26th to 29th August 2025 at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar. Our talented shuttlers showcased remarkable skill, securing an impressive total of 6 Gold and 2 Silver medals across various age categories.
The winning students brought great laurels to the school with their outstanding performances. The medal winners are as follows:
Boys:
- Yahya Ajaz (Class 5D) – U-11 Singles (Gold)
- Yahya Ajaz (Class 5D) – U-13 Singles (Gold)
- Yahya Ajaz (Class 5D) – U-13 Doubles (Gold)
- Nabeel (Class 7E) – U-13 Doubles (Gold)
- Issa Farooq (Class 11S2) – U-19 Doubles (Silver)
Girls:
- Inaaya Raafi (Class 6A) – U-13 Singles (Gold)
- Zoya Mehraj (Class 8E) – U-13 Singles (Gold)
- Izzat Bilal (Class 8B) – U-15 Singles (Silver)
