35 DPS Students qualify for National Math Olympiad

DPS Srinagar has contributed a lion’s share to the national Math Olympiad qualifiers.  Thirty five children from Delhi Public School Srinagar have qualified for the National Level of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).They have earned their spot among the 900 students selected at the national level who qualified the regional rounds held all over the country.  The exam is held at the national level by the Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBSCE), on behalf of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is aimed at identifying and recognizing talent in mathematics among pre university students. The teachers particularly the mathematics faculty, and the management are proud of these stellar results.
