The Under-14 Girls Football Team of Delhi Public School Srinagar achieved a remarkable clean sweep at the recent Inter-School Football Tournament and Selection Trials held at Woodland House School. Conducted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports for the Amirakadal Zone, the event identified the premier athletic talent within the region. Our squad demonstrated exceptional composure and technical skill throughout the competition to secure a series of decisive victories.

The team opened their campaign with a commanding three-nil victory against Convent School and established an immediate physical and tactical presence on the pitch. This momentum carried into the second fixture, where the players secured a one-nil win over the hosts, Woodland House School. The final match against Mallinson School tested the defensive discipline of the group, yet the girls maintained their structure to finish with another one-nil victory. By winning every match without conceding a single goal, the squad proved their status as the dominant force in the zone.

From the fourteen participants representing the school, the selection committee chose nine athletes to advance to the Inter-Zonal Matches.
