DPS Srinagar Athletes Make Their Mark: Inter-District Success and a National Call-Up
Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its student-athletes on the cricket field. Five talented students from the school were recently selected to represent the District Srinagar cricket team at the prestigious inter-district championship held in Poonch, demonstrating the school’s robust sports development program.
The selected students represented the district with immense pride and delivered commendable performances throughout the tournament, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and dedication to the sport against top-tier regional competition.
Adding to the school’s laurels, standout player Vitasta Kitchlu has been selected to compete in the Under-17 Cricket category at the upcoming 69th National School Games. The prestigious national tournament is scheduled to be held in Rohtak, Haryana, from April 29th to May 3rd, 2026. Vitasta’s selection at the national level is a testament to exceptional talent and rigorous training.
