DPS Srinagar emerges as winners in Inter School Commerce Quiz Competition

Green valley educational Trust had organised an inter school Commerce quiz competition on October 21, 2023 which brought together schools from the region to compete in a battle of wits. In a thrilling display of academic prowess, Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar emerged as the worthy winners of the competition.
The event witnessed fierce competition among several prestigious schools in the region. Teams of bright young minds converged to display their commerce knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork. The competition showcased the intellectual capacity of the participating schools and the commitment of students to excel in their academics. Right from its outset the selected students of DPS Srinagar left no stone unturned for the preparation of the quiz and run from pillar to post going through books magazines, newspapers and internet for all relevant materials pertinent to the preparation of the quiz.
Prof. G.M Sangmi, Head of the Department commerce at Kashmir University was the Chief Guest while the Chairman Srinagar Chapter of Cost Accountants of India Bashir Masoudi was the Guest of Honour.
Students from twelve Schools participated in the quiz and after rounds of challenging questions and brainstorming; it was Delhi Public School Srinagar that stood out as the champions. Their comprehensive knowledge, quick reflexes, and ability to work together as a team set them apart, earning them the top position in the competition.
The winners, DPS Srinagar, were recognized and awarded for their remarkable performance. Certificates and trophies were presented to acknowledge their dedication and intelligence.
Commenting on the success of the event, Shafaq Afshan Principal said, “The event promoted learning as an enjoyable and interactive experience.
