Juinor Cricket Championship, the grand sports event jointly organised by Delhi Public School, Srinagar  and Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, moves yet another step forward and successfully holds the final round of block level matches today at various venues. The block level finals were conducted simultaneously in Awantipora/Tral block of district Pulwama, Chadoora block of district Budgam and Kangan block of district Ganderbal. However the inter block matches for district Srinagar shall be held on 6th April, 2017, provided the weather conditions remain favourable. 

The teams having qualified at the block levels shall now be seen competing at the district level. Though rain has been playing a spoilsport throughtout the championship but it failed to falter the high spirits of the enthusiastic participants and the dedicated organisers.
