DPS, Srinagar and J&K State Sports Council to hold Junior Cricket Championship
Delhi public school, Srinagar in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir State Sports Council is organizing a Junior Cricket Championship for boys in the category U-17. The sports event is going to be the first of its kind in the valley. We aim at identifying sports talent at grass root levels by conducting matches in all the blocks of Kashmir and providing a fair chance to all cricket enthusiasts to showcase their talent on a bigger platform. Registrations from all interested schools are invited for participation. The participating teams will go through various levels of competition to reach the final level which will be held in Delhi Public School. The joint organizers of the event intend to cater to 320 teams hailing from every nook and corner of the valley, consisting of 4800 players and plan to conduct 319 matches. The winning teams will be awarded with decent cash prizes apart from getting recognition at state level.
