Cross Country Run: A Celebration of Determination and Inclusivity
The Cross Country run, organized by Delhi Public School on 4th April 2025, took place along Duck Park Foreshore Road to Eco Park Foreshore Road. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Class 3 and 4, along with LRC students, who displayed great energy and sportsmanship. The race began with an electrifying start as the esteemed Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan, fired the gunshot, marking the beginning of an inspiring competition.
At 6:30 AM, as the first rays of sunlight illuminated the course, participants set off with enthusiasm. The runners displayed exceptional endurance and determination, pushing themselves to reach the finish line. With every stride, they showcased resilience and perseverance. By 7:00 AM, the race concluded, with the top three runners finishing in impressive form.
Adding to the spirit of camaraderie, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) also joined the run alongside his son and other students, making the event even more special.
As the race ended, the atmosphere was filled with cheers and celebration. A felicitation ceremony was held to honor the winners and runner-ups, recognizing their hard work and dedication. Certificates and medals were awarded by the in-charge, Ms. Munaza, reinforcing the message of encouragement and inclusion.
The Cross Country run was more than just a race; it was a testament to determination, resilience, and unity. It left a lasting impression, reminding everyone that with perseverance and support, success is within reach.
