An engaging activity titled “Role Switch Skit” was conducted to promote social-emotional learning, empathy, and positive behaviour among students. The activity focused on helping students understand emotions, recognize appropriate responses, and build confidence through role play and expression.

The session began with a teacher-led introduction where different emotions, such as happy, sad, angry, and calm, were discussed using visual aids. Students were asked simple questions to relate feelings to real-life situations, encouraging active participation.

Teachers then performed short role-play scenes demonstrating both kind and unkind behaviour, such as sharing versus snatching and helping versus ignoring. After each scene, students identified the behaviour and discussed how it made the characters feel, helping them understand actions and consequences.

A short story titled “Nobita and the Magic Feelings Bag” was also presented using expressive narration and visual support, emphasizing kindness, emotional understanding, and making positive choices.

Students observed attentively and responded confidently during the interaction. By the end of the session, they were able to identify emotions, differentiate between kind and unkind behaviour, and express their feelings more effectively. The activity proved to be a meaningful experience, fostering empathy, self-confidence, and positive social skills.
