AFS India Member Schools 6th National Meet: A Celebration of Culture and Change
The 6th National Meet of AFS India Member Schools was held at the prestigious Sanjay Ghodawat International School, Kolhapur, from 15th to 17th November 2024, bringing together 62 schools from across India. This vibrant event celebrated culture and the power of change, with the theme “Dare to Change – Be a Changemaker” inspiring all participants.
Two staff members and two students from Delhi Public School, Srinagar participated in this insightful and enriching program. The meet opened with a mesmerizing cultural show presented by the students of the host school, setting the stage for three days of impactful discussions, learning, and celebration of diversity.
The event showcased the true essence of AFS’s motto, “Walk together, talk together,” through a variety of activities and sessions.

Success Stories: Each zone presented inspiring AFS student success stories, showcasing the impact of cultural exchange programs.
Workshops: Students actively participated in Sand Art and Worli Art Workshops, exploring traditional art forms and creative expression.
Panel Discussion: A thought-provoking dialogue on Catalysts for Change emphasized collaboration and inclusivity in driving meaningful transformation.
Wellbeing and Sustainability Sessions: Focused sessions encouraged mental well-being and sustainable practices for a better future.
Networking Lunch: A unique opportunity for students and Principals to interact, exchange ideas, and forge valuable connections.
Valedictory Function:
The meet concluded with a grand Valedictory Function, leaving all participants inspired to embrace and implement the change they wished to see in the world.
