Career awareness Program on Merchant Navy held
A ‘Career awareness Program’ was organized in the school on a career in Merchant Navy. The program was conducted in collaboration with an NGO- EAGLES AND ANGELS Trust, and HIGH FIVES (55RR) wing of Indian Army on 19th November 2018.
The NGO run by Capt. Nawaz M Bhat works closely with all Educational institutes including Colleges, and schools for upgradation of Educational institutes and developing necessary infrastructure in these schools. The NGO also runs a free coaching and guidance cell with High fives(55RR) wing of INDIAN ARMY headed by Col Duggal) to prepare students for challenges of a career.
The session was attended by students of senior secondary wing. The resource person Capt Nawaz M Bhat (CMMI- NWKO) threw light via a detailed presentation on various aspects of career in Merchant Navy including exam pattern, syllabus, hierarchy and structuring. The session was followed by a Q and A session where student queries were answered to their full satisfaction.
