
Class VI Students Explore History at SPS Museum
To enrich their understanding of local history and culture, an educational visit to the Sri Pratap Singh Museum in Srinagar was organised for Class VI students.
The students explored diverse galleries showcasing ancient artefacts, sculptures, and coins that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir. Their keen interest and active engagement throughout the tour made the experience highly informative and enjoyable.
Accompanied by the Social Science faculty, the students received detailed insights into Kashmir’s various historical periods. These explanations brought the exhibits to life, helping the students develop a much deeper understanding of their significance.
The visit enabled students to connect classroom learning with tangible historical evidence. It proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience that enhanced their knowledge and appreciation of history.
