Delhi Public School, Srinagar, successfully organised its Monthly Activity for October, celebrating Hindi Diwas on 30th October, 2025. The event was a vibrant showcase of talent and a heartfelt tribute to the Hindi language, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students of Classes I to X.

Students showcased their talents through speeches, poetry recitations, songs, dances, and skits, with each performance thoughtfully reflecting the cultural significance of the Hindi language.

The entire event was planned and coordinated by the Hindi faculty, whose dedicated efforts ensured the programme ran smoothly. It was held under the Margdarshan (guidance) of Ms Monisa Khuesheed, who was instrumental in maintaining the event’s cultural and linguistic depth. The school was also honoured to host Ms Sunanda Dhar and Ms Monisa Khursheed as esteemed guests; their presence was a source of great motivation for the students.

A key part of the ceremony was the distribution of certificates to the winners and participants of the Poetry Competition held on June 16, 2025, formally acknowledging their creative talents.

The celebration was further enhanced by the contributions of other departments. The Music Department added melody and liveliness, while the Art Department enriched the ambience with beautiful decorations, banners, and charts. The students’ own decorative displays and charts also showcased their artistic abilities and deep affection for the Hindi language.

The Hindi Diwas celebration was a resounding success, providing a meaningful platform for students to express their talent and cultural pride.
