DPS Srinagar Students Foster Intergenerational Bonds at Senior Citizen Medical Camp

25-10-24

Today class 12th Sociology students visited Free Specialized Medical Camp for Senior Citizens organised by Moul Mouj Foundation and Help Foundation at Inderhama.

An initiative was taken by the students by participating in this ongoing commitment to senior citizens highlighting the importance of intergenerational support and understanding in tackling health and social issues related to aging. The involvement of students from DPS Srinagar marked a meaningful step towards nurturing empathy and awareness among our students. The students had the opportunity to interact with seniors, gaining insights into the unique social and health challenges.

The health camp was a successful endeavour that addressed both the physical and emotional well-being of elderly individuals who have been abandoned by their children.

The camp not only provided much-needed medical support but also created a space for social interaction and emotional healing.

The need for more such initiatives was evident, as the participants expressed immense gratitude for the care they received.
