To take blessings of almighty God and to have an exposure of all the major religions of the country, the students of class 1st visited various places of worship on Tuesday, October 10th,2023.
The visit started with the Holy Family Catholic Church located at Màulana Azad Road where the children watched the architectural features of the church keenly and listened attentively to the father. Next children went to the Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi located at Ranawari where they sat down and listened the verses of Guru Granth Sahib carefully. The children were next taken to the place where the Muslims worship ; the Hazratbal Shrine where they saw several people offering prayers. The famous Zestha Devi Temple located at Gupkar road, surrounded by forest land was then shown to the children.
The children’s ride to these different places of worship widened their knowledge as they were enlightened by the teachers with detailed inputs.
The trip was a great opportunity to inculcate in children the value to respect each religion and every religious place. It was a day full of fun and learning for the children.
