An educational visit was organised for Grade I students as part of the curriculum to promote awareness understanding and respect for different religions. The activity aimed to introduce students to diverse faiths in a simple and meaningful manner.

The students departed from the school in the morning and began their visit at the Holy Family Catholic Church where they were introduced to Christianity and observed the calm and peaceful surroundings. They then visited Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara and learned about the basic principles of Sikhism.

The next stop was Dargah Hazratbal, where students were familiarised with Islamic practices. The group also shared lunch together on the lawn, which added to the sense of enjoyment and togetherness. The final visit was to Zeashta Devi Temple, where students observed aspects of Hinduism and participated respectfully.

Throughout the visit students remained attentive and engaged. The experience provided them with a valuable opportunity to understand and appreciate different religions in a respectful and inclusive environment.

The visit concluded with the students returning to school after a well organised and enriching experience. It successfully fostered a sense of respect for diversity and encouraged values of harmony and understanding among the students.
