Investiture Ceremony 2026 Conducted with Dignity and Pride
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026 was held on 16 March 2026 at the school’s Indoor Stadium with great pride and enthusiasm. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected student council, entrusting them with leadership roles and responsibilities for the year ahead.
The venue was thoughtfully arranged, reflecting the discipline and ethos of the institution. The event was attended by parents of the elected council members, academic and activity incharges, departmental heads, house masters, and students of Class XII. It was graced by the presence of Chairperson Mrs. Kiran Dhar, Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan, and Vice Principal Ms. Monisa Khursheed.
The programme began with the school prayer, setting a calm and dignified tone. The outgoing Head Girl then addressed the gathering, sharing reflections from her tenure and offering words of encouragement to the incoming council.
The contributions of the previous year’s House Masters were acknowledged, and they were appreciated for their commitment. The newly appointed House Masters were then introduced. This was followed by the felicitation of the newly elected student leaders, including House Prefects, Vice Captains, Junior Council members, and departmental representatives. Senior leaders, including the Head Boy and Head Girl along with their deputies, were also felicitated.
The Oath Taking Ceremony formed the core of the event, as the newly elected council pledged to discharge their duties with sincerity and uphold the honour of the school. This was followed by brief addresses from the Junior and Senior Head Boy and Head Girl, who spoke with clarity and a sense of responsibility.
A rendition of the school song by the student band added a graceful touch to the ceremony and was well received by the audience.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
The Investiture Ceremony 2026 was a well-conducted and meaningful occasion that underscored the values of leadership, responsibility, and service, and marked the beginning of a new chapter for the student council.
