Jashn-e-Bahar: Class 4th’s Spectacular Annual Day Celebration at Delhi Public School Srinagar
Introduction:
The Annual Day Celebration at Delhi Public School Srinagar was a grand event filled with joy, talent, and enthusiasm. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Jashn-e-Bahar,” which aimed to capture the vibrant spirit of spring. The event, supervised by Academic Incharge Ms. Radifa Khan and Incharge of Grade 3 and 4 Ms Resmeet kaur showcased the incredible talents of the grade 4 students.
Program Highlights:
The program featured various performances by different sections of grade 4, each showcasing their unique talents and skills.
Section G: Prayer
Section 4G commenced the event with a soulful performance of the “Prayer Sahibo Sath Cha Mea Cheani”. This mesmerizing act was prepared by Mr. Tariq and Ms. Noorain, showcasing their dedication and hard work.
Section I: Dance Performance
Section I delighted the audience with an enchanting dance performance, choreographed by Mr. Gulzar. The students displayed grace and coordination, captivating everyone present.
Section E: Blend Dance
Section E showcased their talent through a captivating blend dance, which brought together various dance forms. The performance, prepared by Ms. Andleeb, left the audience spellbound.
Section H: Spring Urdu Song
Section H took the stage with a melodious song about spring in Urdu. The students, under the guidance of Ms. Romana and Mr. Tariq, delivered a heartfelt performance that resonated with the audience.
Section F: Umbrella Dance
Section F presented a lively and vibrant umbrella dance, choreographed by Ms. Arisha. The colorful display of coordination and talent received a well-deserved applause.
Section B: English Spring Song
Section B showcased their singing skills by performing an English spring song. The students, prepared by Ms. Hina and Mr. Jahangir, delivered a melodious rendition that added to the festive ambiance.
Section D: Skit and Dance Performance
Section D left the audience captivated with their skit and dance performance, which portrayed a heartwarming story. The performance was meticulously prepared by Ms. Azra Kuchay, showcasing the creativity and talent of the students.
Section A: Season Dance
Section A took the stage with a lively season dance, beautifully choreographed by Ms. Anisa. The performance showcased the essence of different seasons and was met with great appreciation.
Section C: Bhangra Dance
The event concluded on a high note with an energetic Bhangra dance performance by Section 4C, prepared by Ms. Amerjeet. The students’ enthusiasm and skill brought the house down.
Special Mentions:
The event was graced by the presence of the Chairperson, Mr. Vijay Dhar Sir, and Ms. Kiran Ma’am, along with the esteemed Principal, Shafaq Afshan. Their support and encouragement added value to the event.

Special thanks were extended to Ms Azra Kuchay (Activity inchrge ). Ms. Hanefa, Ms. Amerjeet, and Ms. Anisa for their efforts in preparing the anchors, who did an outstanding job hosting the event. The coordination and efforts of Syed Sumera, Coordinator of Internal Affairs, and Ms. Rafia, Assistant Coordinator of Internal Affairs, were also appreciated.
