Middle Wing Department’s Social Science Exhibition: Unveiling Innovative Talents and Promoting Social Development
Social Science Exhibition of was held in the School on 27th June 2023 in which Students from Middle Wing Department participated and displayed there innovative talents in the Exhibition. The aim of the exhibition was to apply what the students learn, to develop the student’s creative, aesthetic, kinaesthetic and speaking skills, to showcase the talents of students and to highlight the role of social development and to inculcate feelings of oneness.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown by the students as everybody appreciated the hands on approach and the learning aspect. The students showcased various models on different topics and themes. Innovative models, working models, posters, clay tablets, replicas of structures and monuments etc, were prepared by students and were displayed on the day.
The Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan visited the exhibition and said,” this is a great learning experience for everybody and a lot of fun too. It is evident that both teachers and students have have put a lot of effort in creating models and charts related to different topics. Each project in its own way was notable and unique. I would like to conclude by quoting John F. Kennedy – “Things do not happen. Things are made to happen”.
Coordinator of Social Science Faculty, Dr Muzamil: “These types of exhibitions provide students with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and creativity in the field of social science. The actual motive is to take social science beyond traditional teaching-learning process. We as team are committed to instill new ideas in future and end the taboo that social science is a boring subject for many”.
