Orientation Programme Conducted for Grades 5 and 6
The Parent Orientation Programme for Grades 5 and 6 was conducted successfully on 25th and 28th February 2026, providing parents with a clear understanding of the academic framework and expectations for the new session. The programme served as an important platform for communication and collaboration between parents and educators.
The orientation was organised in two phases. In the first phase, parents were given an overview of the scholastic and co-scholastic framework for the academic year, including the academic roadmap, syllabus structure and the role of the Question Bank as a learning resource. Key aspects such as assessment parameters, examination planner, report card format and the concept of Zero Period were also explained. The co-scholastic calendar including Clubs, Annual Day and Sports Day was shared, along with important Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and school guidelines.
In the second phase, subject teachers interacted with parents in their respective classrooms and explained subject-specific syllabus details, assessment patterns, communication channels and expectations from question papers. The importance of regular attendance and adherence to school guidelines was also emphasised.
Parents appreciated the efforts of the school and teachers, particularly the introduction of question banks as an academic support tool. Some suggestions were also shared, including a bus tracking system, enhanced frisking procedures and the continuation of swimming sessions throughout the year.
The programme concluded on a positive note with a shared commitment to maintain open communication and work collaboratively to ensure a productive and supportive academic year for all students.
