School Football team qualifies for National Inter-DPS Football Tournament
Our school football team participated in Inter DPS Football Tournament Zone- Ist for Boys -2015 at DPS Greater Faridabad (Haryana). In this competition our school has once again qualified for National Inter DPS Football Tournament to be held in December this year at Vasantkunj, New Delhi in Zone 1st – 2015. In this tournament our school secured the 4th position. Our team played the first match against DPS Yamuna Nagar and won the match by 7-0. The second match was played against DPS Kathua in which our school won by 2-0 and qualified for quarter finals. In quarter finals our school had to face a very tough competition against DPS Rohtak, and eventually our school made it 4-1 to qualify for the semi-finals. In Semi Finals our school lost the match on penalty shootouts by 4-3 scoreline.
Our talented midfielder Shazan Ali Katariya won the best midfielder award of the tournament.
