School organizes Kashmiri Language Fest 2018
On 14th & 15th August, 2018 a colorful and memorable Kashmiri Language fest was organised in our school. This language fest commenced on 3rd august, 2018 and concluded with an exhibition on 14th and 15th august 2018. The exhibition was held in the Indoor stadium of DPS Srinagar. Students from classes LKG to 10th took part in it.
The Language exhibition commenced with the arrival of Guests namely Prof. Shaad Ramzaan and Mr. Zareef Ahmad Zareef both are renowned personalities of Kashmiri literature. There was a colourful welcome followed by Yezband Soz. It was a truly mesmerizing exhibition as the students from various classes presented many programs which included singing, dancing, poetry recitation, skits, mimicry, mono act shows, Musharia, Lad-e- shah, Chakar etc. Everyone sat glued to the show. The Guests praised the entire event a lot. The Vice Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan also commended the students and impressed upon them to do better for the welfare of Kashmiri language and culture. It was followed by the vote of thanks by Sajid Mohiuddin and the event concluded with felicitation of participation certificates to children.
