Schools hosts district level competition of Children’s Science Congress
The district level competition of Children’s Science Congress (CSC), a flagship programme of NCSTC (National Council for Science & Technology Communication), DST (Department of Science & Technology) Govt of India, was hosted recently by DPS, Srinagar. The completion witnessed the presence of more than 22 teams from various schools of the valley. The event was inaugurated by the Principal Mr.Alistair R Freese in the traditional style by putting Isband in an isband soz The event was also marked by the release of the Annual Abstract Book by the Principal. Among the attendees were the members of the NSCTC Mr. Mushtaq, Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Mr. Shabir A Shabir and members of the faculty of Science from Delhi Public School, Srinagar. In his address the Principal reiterated the importance of such competitions in our valley and wished the participants luck.
