Annual Day Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots, DPS held its annual function for class 1 and 2 on 31st October, 2015. The school’s chairperson Mr Vijay Dhar, principal Ms Kusam Warikoo and Joint Secretary DPS Society Ms Zeenat graced the occasion. The show that was put forth by the students was truly spell binding – leaving the audience yearning for more. The event started with a prayer song “Ae maaliq tere banday hum…” to invoke the blessings of Almighty. Next in row was welcome song, Kashmiri song, English song and an enthralling dance performance ‘Nach Baliye’ by both class 1 and 2 students. The audience was completely captivated. Students displayed their skills in the field of taekondo. This was followed by the exhibition of some ‘asanas’ of Yoga. A short skit was also performed reflecting culture and tradition of Kashmir. The students showcased love and simplicity that use to prevail among people of Valley. The last performance of the event was ‘Mile Sur’ exhibiting Unity in Diversity, how people who speak different tongues and celebrate different cultures live in the same country. The entire event was hugely appreciated and applauded, with the principal praising all the effort put in to put up such a grand show.
