Summer Coaching Camps held
A summer coaching camp for Football & Cricket was organized by Delhi Public School, Srinagar from 14 July to 24 July, 2018. More than 200 students attended the camp. The coaching was imparted to the students by Internationally acclaimed Coaches Mr. Meiraj-u-din Wadoo and Mr. Aabid Nabi .
The students were trained for international standards of the games. Physical fitness and development were the key areas of training.
On 24 July, a closing ceremony of the camp was organized by the school, wherein Mr.Mubashir Hassan Dar Director J&K Cricket Academy was the Chief Guest. He felicitated the coaches. The Principal and the Vice-Principal felicitated the staff present during the camp including the attendants, doctors and the school coaches. Mr. Wadoo, who was very impressed by the school students, in his speech congratulated the school students and wished them luck for the future. The ceremony was concluded by the Principal,Mr.Alistair Freese, who extended his sincere gratitude towards all the participants and assured students of better opportunities in future.
A group of boys and girls were also felicitated for learning Adventure Water Sports at The water sports Academy , Nehru Park.They were trained by Ms.Bilques Mir and her team during their summer vacations.
