The University Fair organized by Career Counseling department, DPS Srinagar School for 11th and 12th-grade students was a highly anticipated event that aimed at providing students with valuable information about various participating universities & colleges and higher education options. The fair took place on 3rd August in the Senior Block of Campus, creating an excellent opportunity for students to interact directly with representatives from different universities & colleges and gain insights into their academic programs, admission criteria, and process.
The fair featured a diverse range of universities from around the world, including renowned national institutions and prestigious international universities. Students had the chance to explore a wide selection of undergraduate programs and potential career paths. Each university set up interactive booths with informative displays, brochures, and digital presentations. This setup encouraged students to engage in meaningful conversations with representatives and ask questions about their programs, scholarships, and campus facilities.
Throughout the event, several presentations were conducted with a brief introduction of each participating institute and others topics such as “Choosing the Right University for Your Career Goals,” “Scholarship Opportunities,” and “Study Abroad Programs.” These sessions were well-attended and provided valuable guidance to the students.
In addition to the university booths, the fair hosted career counseling booth where the school career counselor, Ms. Syed Sumera provided personalized guidance to students based on their interests and aptitudes. This allowed students to explore various career paths and make informed decisions about their future.
Students expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the event. They found the fair to be an eye-opening experience, as it exposed them to a wide range of academic possibilities and career prospects. Many appreciated the opportunity to connect with university representatives and clarify their doubts about admissions and course structures.
