UKG Parent Orientation Sets the Stage for the New Academic Session
The Grade UKG Orientation Programme was conducted successfully on 28 February 2026 in a well-organised and systematic manner, providing parents with a clear understanding of the academic approach and expectations for the new session.
The programme was organised in two phases to ensure effective communication and meaningful interaction with parents. In the first phase, parents were given an overview of the academic plan, theme-based curriculum and important school guidelines. Information regarding the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), school achievements and general expectations for the academic year was also shared.
In the second phase, homeroom teachers interacted with parents in their respective classrooms and explained the theme in detail. They highlighted subject integration, key skills to be developed, assessment methods and the communication process to be followed during the year.
During the interactive session, some parents raised concerns regarding section shuffling, and all queries were addressed clearly. Parents appreciated the opportunity to interact with teachers and shared positive feedback about the theme-based learning approach, acknowledging its engaging and effective nature.
The key highlights of the orientation will also be shared with parents who could not attend. Overall, the programme was conducted smoothly and proved to be a productive and enriching experience for both parents and teachers.
