The students of Class 1st and 2nd drew colourful tulips using poster colours and forks in order to welcome spring. Spring is the season succeeding Winter and preceding Summer. Spring refers to the season as well as to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection, and regrowth. They were also given information about Tulip garden (Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden), the largest Tulip garden in Asia.
The objective of the activity was to make students aware about spring season, and provide them information about Tulip garden. Besides, drawing and painting not only helps children to develop their fine motor skills, writing, reading, creativity but it also boosts their self-esteem.
